Lidl UK GmbH, Leicester

A new build Lidl supermarket with a floor area of 1100 m2 located at the edge of Leicester City Centre.

The new retail store designed and developed as a single built form utilising high-tech industrial materials such as Alco-Bond rain screen cladding and curtain wall glazing, which is a contextual reference of the local historical industrial context of Leicester City. This was the first Store Lidl opened within Leicester City and was much-needed alternative supermarket in the local area.
